In 1988 I created my first company, PB Computers Ltd, a software development business
specialising in software and services for the recruitment industry. I developed this company to a staff of 50 personnel; offices in England, Scotland and Wales; over 350 clients in 5 countries; turnover in excess of £3M. I managed this company through a liquidation and buyout in 1997 and sold my shares in the resulting business three years later.
1976 -
Started working life as a trainee programmer with Tate and Lyle. Worked for 3 further (small independent) I.T. companies progressing to Analyst Programmer before the ‘Entrepreneur’ bug hit me in 1988.
